Hey Chick!

Ink Stained Roni here with a fun Spring time card to share with you using one of the new Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground called  Hey Chickie which as luck would have it I had a darling set of stamps that paired with them perfectly!

The Hey Chickie Sparkle Blend mix is a beautiful combination of pinks, yellows, light orange and white sequins in a wide range of sizes with lovely little pink and irridescent flowers, Fimo butterflies and darling little chick faces. Such a fun mix for all sorts of themes...Spring, Easter, girly girls and so much more.

I started off assembling the shaker by cutting the frame using a Spellbinders die on white cardstock. I filled the shaker window with lots and lots of the Hey Chickie mix and backed it with a lovely vintage cabbage rose pattern paper.

I stamped the little chicks and colored them with a combination of colored pencils and alcohol markers then fussy cut. The shaker was mounted to a green card base that I had previously added Spring-y plaid mat, the little chicks, flowers and sentiment banner were then added to the shaker.

You can find this mix and many more fun *Limited Edition* sequins mixes over at the Doodles Paper Playground Sparkle Blends at their Etsy shop.
