Primarily a cardmaking and papercrafting blog featuring both my own creative designs-including the products and techniques I used to create them-as well as projects by the Sparkle Blends Designing Divas team and other Guest Designers. I welcome comments, design suggestions, and questions, but I do ask that they remain respectful and kind.
Hello Sparkle Blends Fans! Its time for my make for Doodles Paper Playground! I made a little love envelope to share this week.
I am using a new Sparkle Blend for this fun little card. It is called July Birthstone Collection Ruby and it is bright, cheerful and full of super fun shapes and beads. I love the micro mini beads but there is so many cute shapes in the blend. I like them all!
"This blend has tons of interest with textural additions like two styles of flower sequins, tiny micro beads and a variety of sequins and cupped confetti in varying sizes, shades and finishes, resulting in a beautiful true red blend."
As always, the Sparkle Blends are only available at White Rose Crafts LLC. Stop by the Sparkle Blend Fan Page on Facebook or stop by Instagram to see what is happening. Happy Crafting!
Hi, it's Rhiannon. Today I am sharing this card because I love fairies. I think this is a really cute fairy from A Day for Daisies. Unfortunately, their shop isn't open anymore. I wanted to use the new Grapefruit Sparkle Blend, and I have a set of Distress Markers that matched it perfectly.
I like the Grapefruit Sparkle Blend because I like the colors and the flowers are really cute. There are shades of coral, orange, peach, and white and I like the different sizes.
After I colored the fairy I cut her out and picked out a background. I picked the background because I like it with the fairy. Then I chose the lavender card base and glued on the background.
Next I glued on the fairy. Then I picked out sequins and placed them where I wanted. I really like how the flower sequins looks on the image. After that, I glued the sequins down with On Point Glue from Imagine.
I like how my card ended up. I like how I put the flower sequins on her and the flowers like they are really part of image. You can get all of the Sparkle Blends from White Rose Crafts. Thank you for visiting. Have a nice day!
"This sweet, soft blend is a perfect pairing with Sweet Boy! A clear, iridescent base is complimented by soft, pinks and orchid shades in opalescent, high gloss, satin and holographic finishes with big pink transparent flower shapes, crystals and tiny tube beads for texture and interest."

Hi ya peeps, it is a new shaker card I am sharing with you today. I am featuring a new Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. It's sweet and simple.
So this new blend is called Sweet Boy and it is avaliable NOW exclusively at White Rose Crafts LLC. "If you love the striking look of a bright, summer green, you are going to love this softer blend of lime, citrus, and minty greens. A contrasting combination of satin matte and holographic citrus tones layered over high shine lime and glossy shards of mint for texture, this blend is a great fit for summer projects of all kinds."
juicy blend is the perfect cure for parched projects!
A base of two-tone coral in every finish you can think of
is complimented perfectly by slightly rusty orange,
magenta and just a touch of sunny lemon yellow.
Imagine this blend for beach scenes or with images
of fruit and drinks with umbrellas by the pool.
I used the colors of the Sparkle Blend to inspire me on coloring the flowers. I used soft pinks and oranges. I added a bit of Gold Gel pen details to the centers of the flowers and a few dots to the leaves.
Hello, this is Phoenix, Alison's son. Today, I am showing you a card that I made using the new "Peridot" Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground. I made this card for my aunt, whose birthday is in August, and Peridot is her birthstone.
The stamp I used is from Sweet Stamp Shop. I picked it because my aunt likes kale a lot. I stamped it with VersaFine Clair ink in Nocturne on to cream cardstock. Then I colored in the stem with the Cottage Ivy Memento Marker from Imagine. Then I began the tedious work of gluing in the Peridot Sparkle Blend all over the kale.
To adhere all of the little bits, I used On Point Glue from Imagine. I like that glue because it's strong and dries quickly. I put glue on a small section, then put a bunch of sequins on, using the Jewel Picker Tool from Marvy. I'm really happy with how it came out. I like the variation of sizes in the Sparkle Blend.
Once I did the kale, I traced out the speech bubble design in pencil and then traced over it in a Faber Castell PITT pen. My dad came up with the sentiment! Next I wrote the sentiment with the Lilac Posies Memento Marker. After that, I stuck it to my card base. I thought the card needed something else, so I added blue ribbon to the corners.
I am very satisfied with the card. I think that my aunt will really love it. The "Peridot" Sparkle Blend, and all of the other Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground, can be purchased at the White Rose Crafts store. You can only get Sparkle Blends there. Thanks for visiting. Have a terrific day!
Hello! Alison here. Today I am excited to share a card that features one of the newest Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground, "Grapefruit!" This Blend has quickly become one of the most-used Blends in my house, as both Phoenix and Rhiannon have gravitated to it along with me. You'll see their projects using it later in the month.
Recently, one of my favorite digital stamp companies closed it's virtual doors. I have loved A Day for Daisies for years, and was lucky enough to be on the Design Team for 2 years. I am so sad to see the shop close, but I am happy that I have a lovely assortment of images that I can still use. This sweet little mermaid is one of them. I colored her with my Zig Clean Color Markers during the latest 30 Day Coloring Challenge from The Daily Marker, and I am happy to put her on a card now.
The mermaid's flowers are a perfect match to the beautiful tones in the "Grapefruit" Sparkle Blend. There are warm corals and soft peaches, light oranges and pale pinks. They are a stunning mix of colors, that create a mouth-watering Sparkle Blend.
I found some coral corrugated cardboard in my stash to use as a mat, and wonderful polka-dot kraft cardstock from Doodlebug. I also added a simple sentiment from Heidi Swapp's Magnolia Jane stamp set. I stamped it with VersaFine Clair ink in Twilight, which matched the mermaid's hair really nicely.
Once again, experimenting with a new Sparkle Blend proved to be a ton of fun, as I toyed with the various styles, sizes and colors in "Grapefruit." I think you'll find that you may reach for it more often than you thought you would. You can head on over to White Rose Crafts to check out this and all of the other brand new Blends from Doodles Paper Playground. WRC is the exclusive retailer for these gorgeous sequin mixes. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
