Happy Halloween!!!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!!!

I am playing with Sparkle Blends Jack O Lantern. This is really THE perfect blend for today no matter how you are celebrating. And it is perfect for all those great Halloween pictures too!!!!

For this project I used not only our Sparkle Blends but also this fun set from Clearly Besotted called Creepy Corners. I did use my MISTI with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp my images and my Copic markers to color this up. I then did use acetate and 1 inch wide scor tape to create my infinity shaker and there you have it!

I really love how perfect this blend is for all things Halloween and really all things fall, and the Infinity Shaker really lets the light bounce through all the sparkles.

So head over to the Sparkle Blends Shop. Grab your favorites from the October release. Ok, they are ALL fabulous so maybe grab them all while they are still available! And as always, take a look on the Doodles Paper Playground blogFacebook page and in the Sparkle Blends Fan Club on Facebook to see all the fun things going on!
I do hope you enjoy this projects and can't wait to see what you create!

Hugs!
Judy

Fiendishly Fun - Monster Mash

 Fiendishly Fun

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I die cut my top panel and windows out of regular white cardstock.

. . . stamped and colored my images

I die cut my base panel form this spooky Halloween paper.

I added my sequins and made sure to get one of
the big ole' eyeballs from the sequin mix.
I added my top panel.
Then added sequins to the front to finish off the card.

For this card I used the Monster Mash Sparkle Blend mix.
I love the pretty purple colors in this mix!

Boo Shaker Jar

Hello! Alison here! Today I am sharing a card that I made with my husband on last week's FB Live on the Doodles Paper Playground Page. If you missed it, I encourage you to check it out because we had a fantastic time! You can watch the replay HERE. I knew that the Monster Mash Sparkle Blend was going to be perfect for this project.

I was inspired by not only the Spooky Skylines Moodboard Challenge over in the Sparkle Blends Fan Club, but also by THIS card. Also, a number of folks asked me about the sky I made on my Sassy Girls- Witchy card, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to demonstrate how I made it. I mentioned to my husband Gene that it would be fun if he'd join me. He said he'd think about it (if you are already a follower of mine, you know that he does enjoy getting crafty), and he popped into my craft room just as I was about to start!

I had pre-colored and cut the Dome Jar Shaker from Stampendous, as well as some of my ghosties from Mama Elephant's Little Boo Agenda. During the Live, I taught Gene how to blend this Spooky Skyline using Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves, and Black Soot Distress Inks. We also added a tree line with Sassy & Crafty's Tree Stencil set and a deep green from the Royal Satin Kaleidacolor Ink Pads from Imagine.

I love the shades of purple and blue in this Sparkle Blend, but my favorite elements are the eyeballs. Oh, and of course the Oogie-Boogie like heads that glow in the dark! We opted to not add a ton of Sparkle Blends to this because, although the dome jar is large, we didn't want to hide too much of that fabulous sky that Gene created. And I think in this case, little movement was better than overdoing it.

I really loved making this card for the Spooky Skylines Challenge, but also because Gene and I did it together. And many of you got to watch! I hope you'll join in this challenge, it's fun, and you have a chance to win a credit to the Sparkle Blends Shop! Be sure to visit the Sparkle Blends Fan Club for all of the rules, and then hit the Shop to see what Blends you're missing from your collection. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Spooky Skylines

Hey Divas, it's EK back for another Guest Designer Post. Did you see that Doodle's Paper Playground has a brand new MoodBoard Challenge? And to launch this fun new challenge is a great collection of spooky skylines to inspire you to create a fun Halloween card to go along with DPP's new halloween/fall Sparkle Blend Release!

I am playing along today creating an eerie sky line, and a shaker moon using the new You Make Me Batty Sparkle Blend Mix.

I started by stamping out the scene in black waterproof ink, and coloring in the characters and ground with my Zig Clean Brush markers. Then using my distress oxides, I blended ink around the edges of the card to create the sky. I hand drew in a 'circle' for the moon around the bat, and cut it out using my xacto knife.

I filled the moon with the You Make Me Batty Sparkle Blend Mix, and backed the shaker with a piece of orange card stock.
